1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “Student”, “you”) and CodeNCareer (“we”, “us”, “our”, operated under [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]), governing your access to and use of our web application located at codencareer.com and all associated learning tools, practice workhubs, and educational materials.

By accessing our platform, registering an account, or purchasing any educational batch or test series, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately refrain from accessing the platform.

2. Definitions

• “Platform”: Refers collectively to the codencareer.com website, web apps, student workspaces, APIs, database infrastructure, and learning tools.
• “Student” or “Learner”: Any individual who creates an account or accesses learning resources on CodeNCareer.
• “Placement Batches”: Structured multi-week placement preparation courses, roadmaps, lecture modules, and curated study tracks.
• “Workhub / Mock Tests”: Automated timed testing environments, sectional aptitude evaluations, and company test series simulations.
• “Content”: All proprietary question banks, code templates, curriculum roadmaps, lecture notes, video tutorials, audio assets, text, illustrations, and UI code owned by CodeNCareer.

3. Eligibility to Use the Platform

You must be legally competent to form a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. CodeNCareer is intended for engineering undergraduates, university students, and job aspirants who are at least 18 years of age.

If you are under 18 years of age, you may use the Platform only under the supervision of and with the explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

4. Account Registration & Information Accuracy

To enroll in courses or access Workhub tests, you must register by providing accurate, current, and complete details, including your full legal name, valid mobile number, and active personal email address.

You may not impersonate another individual, register using temporary disposable emails, or furnish fraudulent academic credentials. CodeNCareer reserves the right to suspend accounts with unverified or deceptive information.

5. Account Security & Prohibition of Account Sharing

You are exclusively responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. You explicitly agree:

• Not to share your password, OTPs, or active session tokens with any classmate, friend, or third party;
• Not to engage in multi-device pool usage, group sharing, or commercial reselling of batch access;
• To notify us immediately at support@codencareer.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Our automated security systems monitor concurrent sessions and abnormal IP variations. Accounts exhibiting simultaneous multi-city access or credential sharing are subject to immediate suspension without refund.

6. Educational Services Overview

CodeNCareer grants enrolled learners a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, personal license to access our educational services for self-paced placement preparation:

• Quantitative & Logical Aptitude Drills: Practice modules with structured explanations;
• Core Computer Science: DBMS, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, and OOP concepts;
• Coding Challenges: Data structures and algorithms (DSA) problems with interactive compilers;
• Mock Recruitment Tests: Simulating pattern examinations of major tech recruiters.

7. Course Access & Digital Books Library

Access to enrolled Placement Batches, digital books library, and chapter reading notes is provided for the specific duration designated at purchase (e.g. 6-month or 12-month validity period).

Digital books and notes must be viewed through our platform viewer. Downloading, exporting, or redistributing copyrighted PDF notes or solution sets outside the platform is strictly prohibited.

8. Mock Tests, Timed Assessments & Evaluation

Workhub assessments and mock test series are timed simulations designed to mimic campus placement evaluation rounds. By starting an assessment:

• You agree to adhere to the specified duration and browser fullscreen/proctoring guidelines;
• Once submitted, answers are processed by our automated grading engine;
• Score percentiles, accuracy analytics, and rankings are calculated relative to batch participants.

9. Coding Sandbox & Automated Evaluation

Our web-based code execution sandbox allows students to run and test solutions in popular languages (C++, Java, Python, JavaScript).

You agree not to execute malicious scripts, infinite resource-exhaustion loops, system file calls, or bot scripts aimed at degrading sandbox infrastructure. Misuse of the compiler environment will lead to instant termination of access.

10. Interview Preparation & Mock Sessions

Technical interview frameworks, behavioral HR templates (STAR technique), and mentor guidance are provided to build student communication confidence. Mentorship feedback reflects mentor expertise but does not guarantee recruitment round outcomes.

11. Placement Preparation Guidance & Scope

CodeNCareer operates as an independent educational skill-building platform. We provide company-pattern questions, curated hiring process overviews, and test simulations for tier-1 IT recruiters and service enterprises (such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, and Deloitte).

Independence Disclaimer: CodeNCareer is an independent training provider and is not affiliated, endorsed, or partnered with mentioned recruiting corporations. Company names and logos are referenced solely for descriptive preparation purposes.

12. Student Progress & Milestone Badges

Completion badges, milestone certificates, and progress trackers awarded on CodeNCareer reflect academic engagement with our platform. They do not represent accredited university degrees or statutory professional licenses.

While our faculty and subject matter experts take reasonable care to keep syllabus notes, questions, and practice tests accurate and updated, CodeNCareer does not warrant that materials are 100% free of typographical errors, syllabus changes by hiring companies, or technical bugs. All resources are provided strictly on an “as-is” educational basis.

15. User-Generated Content & Student Reviews

When you submit testimonials, reviews, comments, code snippets, or community answers on CodeNCareer:

• You grant CodeNCareer a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, publish, and format the review in connection with our educational platform;
• You warrant that your submissions do not infringe any copyright, trademark, or privacy rights of any third party;
• You agree not to submit defamatory, obscene, abusive, or commercial promotional content.

16. Intellectual Property Rights & Restrictions

All intellectual property rights in and to CodeNCareer — including the CodeNCareer brand name, logos, UI designs, curriculum structure, proprietary question banks, solution videos, code compiler architecture, roadmaps, and software code — are the exclusive property of CodeNCareer ([LEGAL ENTITY NAME]).

Violations of our intellectual property will be prosecuted to the fullest extent permitted under the Copyright Act, 1957, Trade Marks Act, 1999, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

17. Academic Integrity & Anti-Cheating Policy

CodeNCareer upholds high ethical standards for engineering learning. During timed assessments, coding evaluations, and leaderboard mock tests:

• Students must submit their own independent work without proxy test takers;
• Use of automated answer bots, leaked solution keys, or browser script tampering is strictly forbidden;
• Plagiarized code submissions in assessments are flagged and disqualified from ranking leaderboards.

18. Acceptable Use Policy & Platform Restrictions

You agree not to use CodeNCareer to:

• Disseminate unlawful, harmful, defamatory, vulgar, or discriminatory communications;
• Transmit viruses, trojans, worms, or malicious scripts designed to damage server infrastructure;
• Attempt unauthorized access to administrative portals, database servers, or student accounts;
• Spam comment sections or abuse support desk communication channels.

19. Third-Party Services & Payment Gateways

CodeNCareer utilizes RBI-licensed payment aggregators (such as Razorpay, Cashfree, or equivalent) to process student course transactions. Your engagement with payment gateways is governed by their respective independent terms of service and security standards.

20. Pricing, Billing & Indian Taxes

All fees for Placement Batches, Workhub test passes, and learning subscriptions are stated in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive or exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) as explicitly specified at checkout.

CodeNCareer reserves the right to modify pricing, institute promotional student discounts, or change batch inclusions. Price changes do not retroactively affect existing active enrollments.

21. Account Suspension & Termination

CodeNCareer reserves the right, without prior notice or liability, to suspend or terminate student accounts upon:

• Breach of these Terms or academic integrity rules;
• Unauthorized account sharing or multiple concurrent IP violations;
• Fraudulent payment attempts, payment chargebacks, or unauthorized bank reversals;
• Abuse, harassment, or threats directed at support desk staff or mentors.

22. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM, COURSES, MOCK TESTS, AND ALL MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, CODENCAREER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Indian law, in no event shall CodeNCareer, its founders, mentors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of employment opportunities, profits, or data) arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the platform.

Our aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the actual amount paid by the student for the specific batch or service giving rise to the claim.

24. User Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CodeNCareer, its directors, officers, mentors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or legal costs arising out of your violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party intellectual property, or improper use of the Platform.

25. Revisions to Terms & Conditions

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be published with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued access or enrollment after revisions are posted constitutes your explicit acceptance of the amended Terms.

26. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

In the event of any dispute or controversy arising out of these Terms, parties shall first endeavor to resolve the matter amicably through good-faith mutual consultation within thirty (30) days by writing to support@codencareer.com. Failing amicable resolution, competent courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

27. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severable and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining provisions. These Terms constitute the complete understanding between you and CodeNCareer concerning platform access.
